Sealed Bid
The Town of Nectar is accepting sealed bids for a 1997 Ford F-250 Truck. All bids are to be sealed and given to the office before close of business by July 21st, 2026 at 4:30 p.m. On July 22nd, 2026 we will notify the contact person from the hightest bid and you will need to bring full payment in the form of: Cash, Money Order, or Certified Funds.
Mayor's Thank You Message Regarding Nectar's Golden Jubilee
What a weekend.
Now that things have settled down a little, I've had some time to reflect, and my heart is full.
Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate Nectar's Golden Jubilee. It was so good to see families together, neighbors catching up, kids running around the park, and so many people sharing stories about our town. Those are the moments that made this celebration special.
Thank you to every volunteer, town employee, council member, vendor, and entertainer who gave your time to make this event happen. You showed up early and did whatever needed to be done. That's what community looks like.
A special thank you to everyone who trusted us with family photos, keepsakes, and other pieces of Nectar's history. The history exhibit quickly became one of my favorite parts of the day because it reminded us that this town has always been built by good people who cared about one another.
What I'll remember most is seeing our community together. The turnout, the conversations, and the excitement throughout the day reminded me that people want opportunities to connect and celebrate the place we call home. While our Golden Jubilee was a once-in-a-lifetime milestone, I hope it's just the beginning of finding new ways to bring our community together.
Celebrating 50 years gave us the chance to look back at where we've been, but it also gave us a chance to look ahead. I truly believe the best days for Nectar are still in front of us, and I'm grateful to be part of writing that next chapter with all of you.
Thank you for celebrating with us, for supporting this event, and for continuing to believe in our community. It is an honor to serve as your Mayor.
